For the Family unit

New for 2026, the 10-Mile Fun Ride gives families, kids and newer riders an easy way to get outside, ride together and be part of the weekend without taking on the longer routes.

This one is built for parents, kids, cousins, neighbors, weekend tagalongs and anyone who wants to roll through Chattahoochee Hills at a more reasonable pace before getting back to the food, music, market and general Dirty Sheets good-time portion of the day.

It’s still Chattahoochee Hills, so yes, there are hills.

But we’ve done our best to keep this one approachable, scenic and just challenging enough to feel like you did something — without making the kids stop talking to you afterward.

No pressure. No podium math. No all-day commitment.

Ride Route

Please note: The 10-mile option is offered with discounted family-friendly pricing and does not include the standard Dirty Sheets rider tee included with 100-, 62- and 22-mile registrations.

If you still want the shirt — and honestly, we understand — you can add one during registration for $20.

The post-ride meal is a full-on feast. We’re serving up both vegetarian and meat options, along with sides, fresh fruit, chips, and snacks. Each registered rider gets two trips through the food line and three through the drink line (and more if we’ve still got it after everyone’s full and happy). Bringing guests? You can buy them a meal ticket too.

what to expect

Like all of our rides, the 10-Mile Fun Ride takes place on open roads. We’ve chosen roads with less traffic, but riders should still expect real roads, real turns and real-world awareness.

The route rolls through Chattahoochee Hills — and yes, “hills” is the part to remember. We’ve done our best to make this one approachable for families and newer riders, while still giving everyone a real taste of the area.

The course is 10.2 miles with 723 feet of elevation, including quiet roads, a roll through Serenbe and some very groomed, wide mountain bike trails.

It’s not flat, but it’s not meant to be intimidating either.

It’s just enough ride to feel like an adventure, just enough hill to earn the post-ride food and just enough Dirty Sheets to make the whole crew feel like part of the weekend.

Field Limit, Categories, Prizes & Big Picture Rules

Prize Money — 100 Mile Only

We’re throwing down $5,000 in cash — $2,500 for the men’s field and $2,500 for the women’s. All eligible 100-mile riders compete for the overall payout, including Masters and Singlespeed. Non-Binary riders compete within the men’s payout.

Full payout, eligibility and competition rules are on our Rules, Regulations & Ride Etiquette page.

Awards
But…the real prize: Ceramic Glory.

First place in every eligible 100- and 62-mile category takes home a hand-thrown ceramic trophy from Grouchy Ass Pottery Studio. Second and third get custom medals to ease the sting.

The 10- and 22-mile rides are non-competitive — no podiums, but we still love you.

Podiums
The 100-mile overall cash podium will take place approximately 30 minutes after the top 10 men and top five women finish. Cash winners must be present. No exceptions.

All other 100- and 62-mile category podiums will take place approximately 30 minutes after the fifth rider in that category finishes, as best as we can manage.

E-Bikes — The Very Short Version

Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes are welcome in the 10- and 22-mile rides, allowed in the 62 as ride-only participants with no prizes or podiums, and are not permitted in the 100. Throttle-equipped bikes are not allowed at any distance.

There’s more to it than that, including our E-Bike SAG policy, so please read the full Rules, Regulations & Ride Etiquette before registering.
